In this pilot study we follow up on an investigative report about working conditions at four Chinese electronics manufacturers supplying Dell. The Danish watch organisation DanWatch published their study “IT workers still pay the price for cheap computers” in 2013.
Our social media investigation suggests that almost all labour issues have prevailed despite a public statement that corrective action was taken and management practices improved. In addition, we find a number of previously unknown rights’ violations. The full report is available here
