During May 2017 we screened two Chinese textile manufacturers and conducted a qualitative analysis. We collected social media posts from workers that provide insight into living and working conditions. The picture that emerges from various sources is a work environment characterized by power abuse, corruption, embezzlement, and disregard of workers’ rights.
